Magdalene Vogric, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 92 on March 30, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family, who will forever cherish her memory and the profound impact she had on their lives.
Madge was survived by children Peter (Dorothy), Joseph, Barbara (late Robert) McKenna, Annette (late John) Farragher. Grandmother to Christopher, Denise, Laura, Shawn, Danielle, Jimmy, Christina, Courtney, Lauren, Kelly, PJ. Great Grandma to Collin, Max, Brody, Evie, Deacon, Keira, AJ, Ben, Summer, Cedric, Cole, Luke, and Sadie. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Born on August 20, 1931, Madge led a remarkable life filled with love, service, and adventure. On February 23, 1952, she married the love of her life, Peter Vogric, and together they shared five decades of unwavering devotion until his passing in 2001.
Madge was a devout Catholic and dedicated her life to serving her faith community. She served as a Eucharistic minister, President of the Catholic Daughters, President of the Rosary Society, and President of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Madge had a passion for exploring the world, traveling far and wide with her family and friends. She was the epitome of a matriarch setting sail on cruises for her birthdays with her entire family. She was dedicated to her family and legacy, still working at the family shop, Dependable Acme until 2020.
Madge Vogric will be fondly remembered for her warmth, grace, and unwavering faith.
